Problem

Your camera remains CONNECTING and you can't see the model.

What to check

  • The first thing to check is that you have granted the camera permissions on your device before starting the broadcast.
  • Then, verify that you are not using the camera in another application (e.g. Skype video call).
  • Double-check that your camera is working properly.
  • And lastly, check that the device you have connected is compatible.

What to do

  • If your internet connection is not very stable it is possible your cam cannot be connected. You can test your connection with an internet speed checker. If the internet connection is insufficient, even if your camera is detected as connected, the device will not be able to transmit video.
  • If you have not granted permission for the camera from your device it will not be able to capture the video. Both PC and mobile must be granted permission for the use of the camera, as well the browser must also be granted permission for the site to access the camera.
  • If you are using the camera on another application or platform, the browser may have a conflict and not detect the video for the site.
  • If the camera is not integrated you should check the drivers and if there are any pending updates.
  • Confirm that there are no other applications in use that may consume internet data such as: Spotify, YouTube, downloading accelerators, and Netflix, among others. Streaming consumes considerable bandwidth on its own.
